No, students must register for the two full day program.

Exceptions are made for high school students enrolled via our flex program.
No, we charge tuition and function like a school. Our classes are led by paid, experienced, and professional educators who are prayerfully screened and selected by Administration. All students who enroll will be required to attend the full schedule of classes two days per week. Unlike a co-op, parents will not be asked to teach or devote a certain number of hours in the classroom in exchange for the right to attached.
All core classes plus electives are taught at VCA.

Teachers design lessons and assignments, as well as grade and assess student progress.

Students will receive a report card each semester.
To better meet the individual needs of our students, our classes have low studet-teacher ratios. Our class size is 16 students.

Yes, VCA will provide all necessary curriculum for the year. 

Your child will get assignments from their VCA teacher to be completed on the home study days each week.

Parent rolls will progress from a co-teacher in the Elementary years to a guide of independent study in high school. Read more about parent rolls here.
Parents should anticipate 2-4 hours of work (plus breaks/lunch) for Elementary students and a 4-5 hour day for Middle and High school students. Parents with multiple elementary aged children at VCA should anticipate a 4-5 hour school day at home.
