Why Hybrid?
Village Christian Academy is a Christian hybrid school. VCA is a five-day program blending the best of private Christian education and homeschooling. Students enjoy attending class two days a week on campus and three days a week at home.
This hybrid model affords students and families several advantages. On campus, our students thrive with engaging classroom learning, dedicated Christian teachers and meaningful connections with peers. On their home days, students complete teacher directed lessons under the guidance of their parents. The unique structure of VCA supports parents, who are uniquely qualified to teach their children, as the primary influence in their children’s lives. This structure strengthens and equips families and provides students’ the opportunity to cultivate their gifts and talents. An added benefit of our distinctive model is its cost effectiveness. Students receive a high-quality education at almost half the cost of other comparable private Christian schools.
This partnership between parent and teacher is the key to student success in a hybrid model. Village Christian Academy has been established by the efforts of educators and parents who share a passion for Christ-centered learning and parent involvement.
